Come by Venice Arts Sunday August 3rd, from 1-4pm for another exciting adult Drop-in Media Storytelling Workshop! This year long series is part of the Community Story Lab, a new program for adults that mirrors the depth of learning and arts engagement in our programs for youth! The Drop-in Labs are free for low income adults.
Led by media artists Michelle Glass, Andrea Dominguez & Paige Tighe, each month will present a new theme and approach to media-based story telling. The theme for August's Drop-in Lab is:
The Real Me: Participants will create a selfie using a handheld digital camera or camera phone. Images will be superimposed into a secret landscape using Photoshop. Participants will create a picture gallery on the Flickr photo sharing website where viewers will be invited to identify where the secret place is.

Los participantes crearán una “selfie” utilizando una cámara digital de mano o cámara de teléfono. Las imágenes serán luego superpuestas sobre un paisaje secreto utilizando photoshop. Los participantes crearán una galería de fotos en Flickr compartiéndola en la website donde el público será invitado a adivinar adónde queda el paisaje secreto.
