Venice Arts Film + Digital Media Career Pathways Program - Application Deadline For Level 2&3 Is 3/10/21

Last week, our partners at Disney Animation helped us kick off a series of virtual presentations to launch the Film + Digital Media Career Pathways Pilot. Berenice Robinson, VP of Post-Production, was joined by sound mixer, David Fluhr, to talk about the post-production process in feature length animations, and their personal career pathways. This week, the ad company MOTIVE, long-time Venice Arts' supporters, offered an inside look at how creative campaigns are stewarded—from concept through completion. On Friday, our friends at United Talent Agency will lead an internship and résumé workshop, offering tips for success.

Venice Arts is designing this pilot with Los Angeles County's workforce development agency (WDACS) at the direction of the Board of Supervisors. It targets low-income young people, ages 16-25, with a priority given to current or former foster youth, homeless and/or justice involved youth. Stay tuned for updates as the pilot unfolds!

FREE for LA County residents ages 16-25. Individuals who are former or current foster youth, out of work and not in school, homeless, and/or justice involved, receive priority.
