“Young people who are parents or are becoming parents, have a unique set of needs. The Nest Family Housing program addresses these by providing care and services to support both young parents and their children. We’re thrilled to expand The Nest. Last year, our pregnant and parenting program was instrumental in helping house 93 children and 118 young people,” said Iberia Calix SPY’s Director of Housing. Parents receive no-cost housing for up to 36 months. SPY staff will also provide personalized case management, education and employment training, and supportive family services that are necessary to permanently exit homelessness and transition into a healthy, stable life.

The expansion of this program was made possible thanks to the generosity of an anonymous donor, SPY Board Member, Sally Paquette, and partnerships with Set For Life, Inglewood and Westchester Rotary Clubs, Baby2Baby, and Honest Co.
