Venice Lifeguards Rescue Person Who Fell Off The Pier

VENICE, CA — Venice lifeguards rescued a person who fell or jumped from the Venice pier Monday afternoon.

The person pulled from the water has been taken to a local hospital in unknown condition.

Los Angeles Fire Department were called to the end of the pier at about 3:55 p.m. where county lifeguards had already pulled the person from the water, according to the LAFD's Brian Humphrey.

The patient, whose age, gender and condition were not immediately available, was taken to a hospital, Humphrey added.
