The move, paired with a Palm Springs closure, reflects broader consolidation and cost-cutting, though some affected workers are being offered other roles, assistance, or severance.
   

• 6-Year-Old Found Unharmed After Reported Kidnapping In Apple Valley; Non-Custodial Parent Arrested (vvng.com) — Deputies tracked a reported child kidnapping from Apple Valley into Victorville, where they arrested a non-custodial parent after a vehicle pursuit near Bear Valley and Mariposa roads. The 6-year-old was found unharmed and returned to their custodial parent. Authorities are continuing the investigation and asking anyone with information to contact local law enforcement or submit anonymous tips.
