$150 Million Powerball Winning Ticket Sold In CA
There was only one jackpot-winning ticket sold in the entire country.

CALIFORNIA — For last Saturday night's Powerball drawing, exactly one jackpot winning ticket was sold in the entire country, and it was sold right here in Northern California. Did you take a road trip to Reno perhaps, and stop off in the tiny hamlet of Floriston off Interstate Highway 80? That's where the lucky ticket was sold.
According to the California Lottery, the ticket was sold at Gold Ranch Lottery, right on the California and Nevada border. Gold Ranch Casino and RV Resort in Verdi, Nevada built a lottery store straddling the border, partially in each state. It markets itself to Reno residents as being the closest place to buy California lottery tickets. On the California side of that store, the winning ticket was sold.
