2 Window Washers Dangle From High Rise After Scaffold Collapse

WALNUT CREEK, CA — Two window washers were rescued from the side of a high rise building in Walnut Creek Friday, after their scaffolding collapsed.
Both workers were saved by their safety ropes.
Con Fire performed a high-angle rescue to safely lower the workers to the ground, at N. California Boulevard.

The workers were treated at the scene, and then transported to a hospital for further evaluation.
The fire department says the workers suffered no major injuries.
