Activities & Play for Little Ones in Walnut Creek

Small Talk Family Cafe has a schedule full of enriching and fun programs for the youngest citizens of Walnut Creek and the surrounding areas. In addition to drop-in play available six days a week and the nutritious cafe with delicious options for both grown-ups and kids, there are a number of classes and programs designed for children ages 0-5 years. Each week kicks off with Tiny Tot Art (for age 10-20 months) and Tot Art (for age 21 months-4 years) on Monday mornings. On Wednesday mornings there is ”Art Lab” - simple unstructured time to paint, color and get messy and on Wednesday afternoons preschool age children (2.5-5 years) can take Little Kids Yoga. Musical Play class for ages 5 months - 5 years is every Thursday morning at 11 am and there is interactive story time every Friday at 11:30 am. Last but not least, Small Talk also hosts family events (like Movie Nights) and parents night out drop-off events!

Drop-in play admission is free for pre-crawling babies with any cafe purchase. Crawlers and up are $10 per child, with a 25% off discount for siblings. It is also 25% off to visit every day after 1:00 pm. Adults are always free with cafe purchase. There are also discounted admission packages as well as membership options available for frequent visitors.

Tot Art classes, Musical Play class and Little Kids Yoga range in price from $10-$18 per child per class. Discount class packs are available. Art Lab and story time are included with the daily play admission at no extra charge. Event prices vary.
