Assistance League of Diablo Valley Announces Scholarship Opportunities
Knowledge is Power; Education Empowers!
One of ten philanthropic programs of Assistance League® of Diablo Valley, Scholarships was established in 1999. Each year, this program has offered emotional and financial support to foster youth, high school, community college, and university students who demonstrate the need and desire to improve their lives by furthering their education.
More recently, two donor-funded scholarships have become available. The Sandi Lou Back to School Scholarship encourages a Contra Costa resident to return to college after an absence, while the Spotlight on You funds pursuit in a special technical or vocational program.
