Assistance League Thrift Shop’s Asian Event Approaches

The ever-innovative member volunteers at Assistance League® Thrift Shop at the Way Side Inn, located at 3521 Golden Gate Way, in Lafayette, have scheduled the annual Asian Event to begin on Tuesday, February 22, at 10 a.m. and conclude on Saturday, March 5.

Discover such Asian-inspired treasures as a large three-paneled screen, kimonos, dish sets, wall hangings, as well as decorative accents for tables, walls and shelves. As for an added touch, look for tea cozies that promise to help you greet each day.

You will find items that are rich in tradition, as well as functional and inspirational. Infuse your living- and workspaces with color; green to add healing and harmony, yellow to ensure power, prosperity and heroism. Also consider the color red to assure good fortune, joy and happiness, as well as blue that represents harmony achieved on a higher level.
