Assistance League Thrift Shop’s Cashmere Event Nears
On Tuesday, October 1, 10 a.m., Lafayette's well-known landmark will transform to a virtual garment district.
The dedicated member volunteers at Assistance League® Thrift Shop take pride in preparing for the annual Cashmere Event that will begin on Tuesday, October 1, at 10 a.m. and will continue while inventory lasts. This unassuming structure will reveal racks and shelves bulging with previously owned, but many times infrequently worn, high end garments that will appeal to men and women, alike.
Cashmere is a fine-textured hair that is light and soft, yet stronger than wool with three times the insulating capacity. You’ll appreciate these attributes as lower temperatures approach. You’ll certainly delight in the palette of colors, styles and low prices, especially after you compare thrift shop savings to retail prices. Whether worn at home, on the job or during an evening out, these cashmere beauties promise to “suit every occasion.”
