Assistance League Thrift Shop’s Christmas Merchandise Event Nears
A return visit might be called for in that space does not allow for all items to be on the floor on opening day.
The dedicated member volunteers at Assistance League® Thrift Shop at the Way Side Inn, located at 3521 Golden Gate Way, in Lafayette, happily announce that as early as Tuesday, November 16, you will find an assortment of holiday décor and gift ideas at great values. When you are “making that list and checking it twice,” please remember that holiday items typically spend very little time adorning the thrift shop’s shelves and display cases.
At 10 a.m., the door to this well known landmark will open to shelves lined with Santa themed ceramics, holiday themed tableware, cookie forms and decorative tins. Venturing further, you will discover accent pillows, stuffed animals, gift boxes, decorative dishtowels, candles, wreaths, books and colorful tree ornaments. Children’s-size costumes and holiday sweaters for adults will definitely ring in the holiday spirit. Also available will be clothing and accessories for the entire family. Carefully selected and polished silver pieces will add luster to this year’s holiday season.
