Assistance League Way Side Inn Thrift Shop Adds Exquisite Collectibles to Silver Plate, Sterling and Fine Linens Event!

The grace and functionality of this ceramic bird bowl speak to its authenticity.

THIS JUST IN--The dedicated member volunteers of Assistance League Way Side Inn Thrift Shop, located at 3521 Golden Gate Way in Lafayette, announce a not necessarily anticipated Exquisite Collectibles event scheduled for Thursday, October 27, through Saturday, October 29, which happens to coincide with the final three days of the annual Sterling, Silver Plate and Linens event. Expect to find rare, fine quality dining and objects d’art made available to you for the simple reason that they are much too fragile for shipping.

Examples include ornate Bohemia gold, hand-painted glass; bone china (off white in color) with small floral blue and gold rim; gold-rimmed Waterford crystal; Teplitz rare hand-painted, ruffle-edged bowl and a Dorothy Thorpe California pottery dinner service. In excellent condition, many of these items are early to mid-20th century. Sets of wine glasses and champagne flutes, as well as Spode Trapnell bone china, complete with eight place settings and serving pieces, by no means complete the inventory.

This unexpected treasure reminds us that life is not always predictable. What is predictable, however, is the sheer beauty you will enjoy while finding additional items of quality at unbelievably low prices! Who knew?
