BLOW UP: Inflatable Contemporary Art

BLOW UP, an exhibition filled with inflatable sculpture, opens at the Bedford Gallery on April 26 with a reception from 3-5pm.

BLOW UP explores the imaginative ways that artists use air as a tool for creating large-scale sculpture and includes imagery that is both figurative and abstract. Accessible, yet rich with meaning, these pieces use the perception of space and unexpected materials to open a dialogue about pop culture and social norms. Participating Artists include: Claire Ashley, Lee Boroson, Lewis deSoto, Patrick Flibotte, Billie Grace Lynn, Guy Overfelt, Momoyo Torimitsu, Andy Warhol.

Opening Reception: Sunday, April 26, 2015, 3:00 – 5:00pm

$5 Admission, wine and hors d’oeuvres hosted by the Bedford Gallery Guild.
