Burglary, Assault, Vandalism Charges Filed Against 2 Men
The felony charges stem from crimes late last year and the spring of this year.
WALNUT CREEK, CA — The Contra Costa County District Attorney's Office has filed felony charges against two men accused of crimes in Walnut Creek.
Gilberto Fuentes is facing three counts of felony residential burglary. According to Walnut Creek Police, "It was determined that he would case the areas while pretending to work as a landscaper. Once the residence would leave, he would burglarize their home." Fuentes was arrested in late 2019.
Varun Suresh faces felony vandalism, threats, and assault charges. Back in March, Suresh is accused of vandalizing vehicles at a car dealership. When ordered by a police officer to drop a knife, Suresh complied, "but continued to act in an aggressive and threatening manner. Officer O'Brien arrived on the scene and helped take Suresh into custody. While being treated at the hospital, the suspect assaulted a Doctor."
