Businesses Eligible For Free Waste Audit
California law requires businesses to recycle. Free recycling services could reduce garbage costs.
WALNUT CREEK, CA — RecycleSmart offers free waste audits for Walnut Creek businesses to determine proper service levels, which could decrease garbage costs.
For instance, food recycling is available at no additional cost as part of the garbage service fee, helping restaurants, schools, and employee cafeterias reduce contributions to the landfill.
RecycleSmart also provides free recycling educational materials and conducts free workshops for employees to help you decrease the amount of waste going to the landfill.

California requires businesses to recycle. "Currently, the commercial sector in the RecycleSmart service area is only recycling about 36% of the waste produced. So we are placing more emphasis on helping businesses start or expand recycling."
