For Busy Walnut Creek Parents: 'Back-To-School Family Pack' Special At Local Restaurant

Yalla Mediterranean, a fast-casual eatery, will offer a “Back-to-School Family Pack” meal at both the Pleasant Hill and Walnut Creek locations.

The “Family Pack” is a carry-out option for busy parents to grab after picking up their children from a long day at school. Serving up to four people, this $38 to-go meal may be customized to include two proteins, such as Chicken, Steak, Salmon, Kefta, Falafel, or Chicken Shawarma; a choice of three sides from a selection that changes seasonally; all accompanied by a pita, hummus, basmati rice, and power greens with a Greek vinaigrette.

As a special bonus, Yalla will donate $5 from every “Family Pack” purchased to the Monument Crisis Center, a community-based non-profit providing low-income families with nutritious food, education, and general assistance in Central and East Contra Costa County.
