The Diablo Women’s Chorale (DWC) presents Over the River and Into the Woods, a joyful and nostalgic musical experience celebrating the wonders of nature, devotion, and true love. From Into the Woods to Cry Me a River to Bridge Over Troubled Waters, the DWC brings to life autumn’s warmth, hues, and harmonies.
Director Erin Fishler brings passion to each piece, drawing from her extensive vocal skills, performance, and teaching experience. Accompanist Rebecca Hass contributes her talent and experience as an accomplished recording artist, pianist, teacher, and composer.
Established in 1942 amidst the trials of World War II, the chorale has been a musical legacy in the San Francisco East Bay for 83 years. DWC thrives today as a secular choir that continues to attract women of all ages who share a desire to spread joy through music.
