Reimagined through a playful and slightly surreal lens, the ballet unfolds on a 1930s seaside beach where swimmers flirt, surf, and play—until a chance accident brings the Prince and the Little Mermaid together.
Also featured on the program is Diablo Ballet’s premiere of Company B by legendary choreographer Paul Taylor, set to the iconic harmony vocals of the Andrews Sisters with hits such as Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy; and by popular demand the return of Donizetti Variations by George Balanchine.
