The Walnut Creek Historical Society offers this docent-led tour which is free and includes an informational booklet with photos of historical buildings. It's an easy 60 - 90 minute walk on city sidewalks bringing to life the early times and development of what has become a Bay Area destination city. Please register on the Walnut Creek Historical Society website (wchistory.org).The tour begins at Liberty Bell Plaza, outside Il Fornaio at 9.30am
