A Summer Workshop for College-Bound Students

As many families prepare to send students off to college this fall, SOS4Students is offering a resource for rising freshmen.

Many students arrive on campus academically capable but unprepared for managing their time, keeping up with assignments, communicating with professors, and navigating a much less structured environment.

Conquering College 101 helps students build the executive functioning, study, and life skills needed to thrive academically, socially, and independently during their first year.

Students learn practical strategies for:

• Managing schedules and deadlines
• Studying efficiently and preparing for exams
• Taking effective notes and reading actively
• Self-advocacy and communicating with professors
• Building routines that support long-term success

A bonus parent session with Beth Samuelson is included and focuses on supporting your student's transition while fostering independence.

Sunday, July 26 through Tuesday, July 28, 2026, from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm each evening.
