Car Goes Completely Through Apartment Wall In The East Bay
One person was taken to the hospital following the crash.

WALNUT CREEK, CA — A driver was injured Sunday when a car slammed into an apartment building, the Contra Costa County Fire Protection District reported.
The accident happened at about 2:50 p.m. when a Lexus drove through a ground-floor wall of an apartment building in the 800 block of Tampico, just south of Ygnacio Valley Road, said Con Fire Capt. Steve Aubert.
The driver, whose name is not available, was extricated from the car and taken to a nearby hospital for treatment, Aubert said.

No one else was injured.
The accident remains under investigation.
