CHP Investigates BB Gun Shooting at Car on I-680 in Walnut Creek
The victim was shaken but not injured. There was some damage to the victim's car.

WALNUT CREEK, CA — The Contra Costa California Highway Patrol is investigating a BB gun shooting Thursday on southbound Interstate Highway 680.
According to the CHP, officers responded to the area of Treat Boulevard on reports of possible shots fired at a vehicle. An investigation determined a person in a dark gray Dodge Charger with tinted windows and a red "RL" sticker in the rear window shot BB's at a white Volkswagen.
The CHP said the person inside the Volkswagen was shaken, but uninjured. Their vehicle suffered minor damage to the exterior.

The driver of the Charger was described by CHP as a white woman in her 30s with brown hair. The passenger, who was the shooter in the incident, was described as Hispanic man in his 30s wearing a black hoodie.
The CHP said the Charger fled the scene prior to officers arriving. Anyone with information is encouraged to contact Officer Miga at (925) 646-4890.
