Concerts in the Garden Return to Walnut Creek this Summer

Concerts in the Garden returns to The Gardens at Heather Farm with a series of musical performances showcasing outstanding live music in a stunning outdoor atmosphere, creating a unique entertainment experience for all to enjoy.


Summer Solstice Bluegrass and Brews
Muleskinner Stomp kicks off the series Thursday, June 20 at 7 p.m. With members hailing from a variety of legendary bluegrass bands, the upbeat combo performs the tunes of Bill Monroe, Old Crow Medicine Show, Gillian Welch, Tim O’Brien, Dwight Yoakam, Jimmy Martin, the Rolling Stones and more, plus original music. While enjoying the music, guests can quench their thirst with premium craft beer courtesy of Mike Hess Brewing and other beverages.

Doors open at 6:30 p.m. Venue seating is limited. Food, blankets and lawn chairs are welcome. Outside alcohol is prohibited.

TICKETS: $20 General Admission Adult; children ages 12 and under are free.

Classical Romance Trio
The series continues Sunday, July 21 at 7 p.m when performers Larisa Smirnova (harp), Ernie Mansfield (flute) and Pawel Walerowksi (cello) return for their second performance in the garden, offering inspiring arrangements of classical favorites including Bach, Ravel, Debussy that are sure to thrill the spirit and soothe the soul.

S’mores at Sundown Family Concert with Andy Z and the Andyland Band
Say “So long!” to summer while enjoying sweet treats and live music at this family-oriented event. Sunday, August 11 at 6 p.m., award-winning singer/songwriter and children’s performer Andy Z will energize the audience with his creative combination of music and movement. Andy engages children (and parents) with songs and stories that range from educational to silly. He pairs fun and witty lyrics with traditional and original songs from a variety of musical styles including rock, folk, jazz, country, hip-hop, surf, reggae and more. Pick up your ready-made pack of s’mores ingredients when you arrive and roast these yummy treats over the grill during the event.

Doors open at 5 p.m. Venue seating is limited. Food, blankets and lawn chairs are welcome. Outside alcohol is prohibited.

TICKETS: $15 General Admission Adult; $10 GA Child (ages two and up); children under age two are free.
