Contra Costa Coronavirus Death, Hospitalizations Increase
Contra Costa County's confirmed coronavirus cases climbed to over 500 on Friday, with 35 people hospitalized.
CONTRA COSTA COUNTY — Another person has died of COVID-19, caused by coronavirus, Contra Costa Health Services reported on Friday. The death toll in the county is now up to 9.
The county health department also reported that the total number of cases has risen to 511, an increase of 26 from Thursday, while the number of people currently hospitalized rose on Friday to 35. Hospitalizations had dipped as low as 29 earlier in the week.
