Cooling Center Open In Walnut Creek
To operate the center responsibility we are asking anyone showing any signs of illness to not visit the cooling center.

To help residents combat this week's intense heat the City of Walnut is opening Tice Valley Gym as a cooling center. Tice Valley Gym is located at 2500 Tice Valley Blvd. in Walnut Creek will be open offer an air conditioned space from Monday, August 17 - Wednesday, August 19 from 1:00 PM - 6:00 PM.

To operate the center responsibility we are asking anyone showing any signs of illness to not visit the cooling center. Face coverings and observing proper social distancing is required to enter the center. We are encouraging people to bring their own water. Unfortunately, no pets are allowed.
