Cops Play Santa With Recovered Amazon Packages

Dozens of packages were found following a tip from a citizen.

WALNUT CREEK, CA — Walnut Creek police officers were greeted with plenty of smiling faces earlier this month when they got to play Santa.

Back on Dec. 9, six courier bags were found in the bushes on Oak Grove Road following a tip by a citizen. Those bags contained 45 undelivered Amazon packages addressed to residents in the surrounding neighborhood.

After conducting their investigation, officers got to work delivering the packages the next day, Dec. 10.
