Coronavirus: Contra Costa County Reports 13 New Cases

The county for a second straight day reported no new COVID-19-related fatalities however, leaving the death toll at 11.

WALNUT CREEK, CA — Contra Costa County Health Services reported another 13 confirmed cases of the new coronavirus Monday, bringing the countywide caseload to 552.

There are currently 41 COVID-19 patients hospitalized within the county.

All staff and visitors at licensed health care facilities in Contra Costa County will be screened for high temperatures and must wear masks under a new health order that goes into effect Tuesday.
