Crews Knock Down House Fire In Walnut Creek

WALNUT CREEK, CA – Firefighters responded to the scene of a garage fire at a Walnut Creek home this afternoon, according to a fire marshal with the Contra Costa County Fire Protection District.
The blaze was reported at about 3 p.m. on Adeline Drive, Fire Marshal Robert Marshall said.
The fire, which spread into the home's attic, was being fed by natural gas, however, crews were able to secure the home's gas meter.

Firefighters were able to eventually bring the blaze under control, according to fire officials.
