Crews Repairing Water Main Break In Walnut Creek

Residents and drivers in North Main Street area affected.

Contra Costa Water District crews are working this morning to repair a water main break in Walnut Creek, a district spokeswoman said.

The break to the 12-inch water main was reported between 8 p.m. and 9 p.m. Monday in the area of North Main Street near Geary Road, district spokeswoman Jennifer Allen said.

As of around 10 a.m., Allen said no customers were out of water but she said up to 15 businesses and an apartment complex in the area could be affected when crews shut off water to the main.
