Diablo Symphony Instrument Petting Zoo and Family Concert October 4th at Our Savior's Lutheran Church, Lafayette

Kids can come try out real instruments with our musicians, followed by a family-friendly concert. Zoo is at 2 pm, Concert at 3 pm.

The Diablo Symphony Orchestra, Contra Costa’s oldest community symphony orchestra, is thrilled to bring back our popular Instrument Petting Zoo and Family Concert. What’s an Instrument Petting Zoo? Not lions and tigers and bears, instead violins and timpani and brass. Check out a cello, bang on a drum, experiment with an oboe, all guided by our enthusiastic Diablo Symphony musicians. After the Zoo, we’re having a short family-friendly concert. You might even get the chance to conduct the orchestra! The Zoo starts at 2 pm, the concert begins at 3 pm. Both events are at Our Savior’s Lutheran Church, 1035 Carol Lane, Lafayette.  Admission is free. Thank you PG&E, for sponsoring the Zoo.
