The 11th annual Walnut Creek On Ice takes place in the heart of downtown at Civic Park.

The partially enclosed ice rink welcomes skaters of all ages and abilities to tie on a pair of ice skates and skate daily through January 18, 2016.

Walnut Creek On Ice:

Through January 18, 2016

General Public Skating Hours:

Monday through Thursday: Noon - 8 p.m.

Friday: Noon - 11 p.m.

Saturday: 11 a.m. - 11 p.m.

Sunday: 11 a.m. - 8 p.m.

December 31, New Year’s Eve: 11 a.m. - 10 p.m.

Pricing:

Weekday: Monday through Friday - $11/person, includes skate rental

Fridays after 5 p.m. - $15/person and includes skate rental

Weekend: Friday 5 p.m. through Sunday 8 p.m. - $15/person, includes skate rental

Children under three skate for free!

Family Skate Night, January 5, 12, 2016:

Families of four skate for $30, a $14 savings. Includes skate rentals!

Polar Bear Icepolooza California Style, New Year’s Day, January 1, 2016, 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.:

Skaters who welcome in 2016 by wearing beach apparel receive a $5 discount.

Frosty & Friends, January 9, 11 a.m. - 1 p.m.:

Skate and visit with Frosty and other fantasy characters provided by the Peter Pan Foundation. Free hot chocolate; regular admission prices apply.
