Dozens March In Walnut Creek To 'Stand Up To White Supremacy'

Police advised Walnut Creek residents to avoid N. Main Street between Civic Drive and Broadway Plaza.

WALNUT CREEK, CA — Footage posted to Twitter showed dozens of anti-Trump and Black Lives Matter protestors marching through Walnut Creek Saturday. Police said a group of 50 protestors were assembled outside City Hall.

"We have received information that they plan to march southbound on N. Main Street towards Broadway Plaza. Expect traffic delays. Please avoid this area if possible," the Walnut Creek Police Department said.

The demonstration was set to "stand up to white supremacy," just days after a violent mob of President Donald Trump supporters stormed the U.S. Capitol.
