Dunkin’ Donuts surprises Oakley woman with $1,000 to celebrate launch of Dunkin’ Frozen Coffee

On the morning of Friday, May 19, the Dunkin’ Donuts in Walnut Creek surprised a guest with $1,000 in celebration of its new Frozen Dunkin’ Coffee. The “Freeze the Day with $1K” winner was Glenna Ranney from Oakley. Mrs. Ranney was greeted with the good news by franchisee Matt Cobo. In addition to the cash prize, Mrs. Ranney also received a three-month supply of Frozen Dunkin’ Coffee and a bag of Dunkin’ Donuts branded gear. All other guests present around the time of the surprise were also treated to refillable branded cups and $2 DPerks cards.

The Dunkin’ Donuts location in Walnut Creek, located at 1250 Newell Avenue, was one of 16 locations across the country to participate in the surprise giveaway. The coffee and donut chain was celebrating the launch of its first frozen coffee beverage.

The new Frozen Dunkin’ Coffee captures the same authentic taste and quality of Dunkin’ Donuts’ Original Blend coffee, now blended frozen. Frozen Dunkin’ Coffee is crafted with a special extract featuring 100% Arabica coffee to bring forward the signature flavor of the brand’s premium coffee, blended with ice and dairy for a rich, sweet and creamy beverage to keep guests energized and refreshed any time of day.
