East Bay's 24-Hour Fundraising Spree Kicks Off at Midnight

East Bay Gives, an historic national day of local giving, begins Tuesday -- May 6 -- at midnight, encouraging locals to give and support more than 140 important causes in the East Bay community.

In partnership with the East Bay Community Foundation, Give Local America,  nonprofit organizations, and others, you can help make East Bay Gives a resounding success. 

The giving website makes it simple and safe to donate to organizations doing essential work in the East Bay.

Here are some ways you can help:

• Make a Giving Day grant through your donor advised fund at EBCF
• Spread the word in your personal circles–and on Facebook
• Make a gift on Giving Day, May 6.
