Melissa Etheridge, Olivia Newton- John and Jaclyn Smith – all cancer survivors, will be on big screens coast to coast. On October 6 at 8:00pmPT (tape delay), this special event will be broadcast from Los Angeles to movie theaters nationwide.
To date, the live panelists will include Olivia Newton-John, Melissa Etheridge, Deepak Chopra, Namrata Singh Gujral, Barbara Mori, as well as William Baldwin, whose mother is a cancer survivor.
Following the panel discussion will be the prerecorded docudrama 1 a Minute, written, produced and directed by Namrata Singh Gujral, a breast cancer survivor. The story portrays one woman's journey through the various phases of breast cancer diagnosis and treatment. Throughout the docudrama, celebrity guests and Susan G. Komen share their own personal stories.
