Gisele was born in Germany. She attended a textile art school in West Berlin, before immigrating to the US. Weaving was her first love. When her always limited vision decreased even further, no longer allowing her to weave, she decided to explore the art of watercolor.
Gisele has exhibited, taken awards and sold pieces, both in Germany and California. She's ventured into painting on silk. Besides occasional framed art, she paints one-of-a-kind silk scarves.
