Beginning Bird Walk

Join Ranger Dan Bylin and learn about our local bird life. While we search for birds we will discuss identification tips, behaviors, habitat requirements, where to find specific species and interesting facts about our feathered friends. Bring binoculars and a small notepad to record your observations. Carry water and a hat and wear sturdy shoes. This morning will will hike through grassland and chaparral and up to Lime Ridge. This is a good morning for chaparral birds and migrating birds of prey. Meet in the parking lot across from Boundary Oak Golfcourse.
