The fantastically marvelous Crystal Fair is coming to Walnut Creek on the second weekend in August (the 13th & 14th). It will be a spectacular show. Rocks & minerals, gems & jewelry, metaphysical arts. Find the crystal that's right for you. Get a massage. Have a psychic reading. Be sure to stop in for lunch and snacks at our very own Leila's Moroccan Kitchen (Leila is from Marrakesh and she knows her food).
The action starts at 10am Saturday, Aug 13. You have the whole day until 6pm and can come back on Sunday, Aug 14, from 10 to 4. An admission ticket of $6 covers both days and young children get in for free. There's free parking in the Civic Park parking lot and a couple of pay lots close by.
The location is Civic Park Community Center 1375 Civic Drive at the corner of Broadway in downtown Walnut Creek. It's about a 10 minute walk from BART.
