Desert to Dream: A Dozen Years of Burning Man Photography

Pphotographer Barbara Traub, who has carved out a niche for herself shooting dramatic images of Burning Man, will be the presenter at the Walnut Creek Library’s ongoing author series.  Traub will show slides and discuss work from the newly released revised edition of her book “Desert to Dream: A Dozen Years of Burning Man Photography.”  The free talk will take place on the second floor of the library in the Oak View Room.  Copies of her book will be available for sale.

Daughter of a photographer father, Traub launched her career in 1987 with a solo show at the Hubble Space Telescope Science Institute and took first place in the Baltimore Sun Magazine annual photo contest. Her work has been included in exhibitions and publications worldwide.
