KTVU Channel 2 Health and Science Editor John Fowler will moderate a panel consisting of scientists from Walnut Creek's Department of Energy (DOE) Joint Genome Institute (JGI) and the Emeryville-based Joint BioEnergy Institute who are developing ways to convert the solar energy stored in plants into liquid transportation fuels.
