Live! from the Library EXTRA - Real Stories

The new Walnut Creek Library celebrates its first anniversary by hosting an after-hours event with Real Stories Bay Area. This will be a night of true, live, modern storytelling in the Oak View Room, with an undercurrent of if you only knew.

The Walnut Creek Library Foundation is partnering with producer Kay DeMartini to bring a terrific lineup of storytellers  including Los Angeles voice actor and five-time NPR Moth storytelling winner Bill Ratner; Minnesota director and author Loren Niemi; San Francisco’s Bawdy Storytelling producer Dixie de la Tour; travel writer and crowd favorite Jeff Greenwald; San Francisco Mission District artist and dynamo Vero Majana; Contra Costa Times Features Editor Lisa Wrenn; and award-winning poet and writer Cheryl Dumesnil.

Tickets are $10 in advance, $15 at the door, and beer and wine will be on sale. Doors open at 7:00 p.m., and attendees are encouraged to come early, have a drink, and mingle with friends.
