Marketing, Planning, and Management Using 2010 Neighborhood Analysis Census Data

Designed for the novice as well as experienced data users, this workshop will examine the 2010 Census and the American Community Survey, standard geographic concepts, and the basic definitions used in all Census Bureau products. Appropriate uses for each dataset will also be discussed. Participants will learn how to access demographic profiles for their areas - - of social, economic, housing, and general demographic characteristics - - and will also learn how to create thematic maps online. If desired, participants may use their own laptop computer during the workshop.
