Just as Walnut Creek opens its doors to the new downtown Walnut Creek Library this summer, the Bedford will open Unbound: a National Exhibition of Book Art. This survey celebrates the book as art-form and includes artists who make one-of-a-kind art books as well as artists who disassemble pages, covers, and spines to create three-dimensional works. Artists from past and present include: Michael Bartalos, Lisa Kokin, Francesca Pastine, Maria Porges, Ed Ruscha, Nancy Selvin, Jina Valentine, Andy Warhol, and William Wiley among others.
