Pints for Prostates is a grassroots campaign that uses the universal language of beer to reach men with an important health message. Founded by prostate cancer survivor Rick Lyke in 2008, the campaign raises awareness among men about the need for regular health screenings and PSA testing by making appearances at beer festivals, and brewhouses.
Tickets will be sold at the door for $20 to attend the 'Pints for Prostates package.' The package will include a beer glass, beer & appetizers, wrist band, and a raffle ticket. (Prizes to be announced)
This event will promote conversation and awareness about prostate cancer prevention, early detection, and breakthrough treatments. There will be a very brief talk on things you should know. A percentage of all sales will be donated to Pints for Prostates/UsTOO.
Tickets sold at door but Space is limited, reservation may be made by calling Sandy at 925.677.5041 Women are welcome to attend.
