Wondering what all those little birds in your backyard are? No, they're not all just LBBs (little brown birds.) You will be amazed at the number of birds that call our backyards their home. Everything from titmice to hawks can commonly be observed around our urban homes. During this two day class we will figure out how to tell the difference between sparrows and finches, and titmice and nuthatches. You will amaze your friends and family with all of your new bird knowledge. Both sessions will be held at Borges Ranch. Friday's class is from 6 - 8:00 in the Carriage Barn and Saturday's class is from 9:00 am to noon around the ranch. Reservations are required and the class size is limited to 15 people. The registration fee is $20.00 per person. Reservations can be made by contacting Ranger Dan Bylin at 925/943-5899 x2162.
