Join Ranger Dan Bylin on a 1.5 mile hike as we explore the old hunting grounds of the California grizzly bear. The CA grizzly was at one time the most dominant creature found in the state but vanished forever in the early 1900s. Learn how this bear once ruled the landscape but then quickly disappeared -- seemingly forever. We will discuss the bear's habits and how different CA cultures dealt with their presence.
