No Injuries In Walnut Creek House Fire

WALNUT CREEK, CA — A house fire in Walnut Creek on Monday morning has been brought under control, fire officials said.

The one-alarm blaze, in the first block of Edmund Court, was reported at 8:22 a.m. The fire was under control one hour later and no injuries have been reported, according to the Contra Costa County Fire Protection District.

Residents of the single-story home, in the first block of Edmund Court, were evacuated, a Con Fire spokesman said.

Fire officials are asking people to avoid the area, a neighborhood located near Walnut Boulevard and Sierra Drive.
