WALNUT CREEK, CA - The Walnut Creek Police Department reports that a fire at the Safeway Store on South Broadway Friday night has been extinguished.
Initial reports are that the fire was in a kitchen area.
There were no reports of injuries. Police said on Facebook, "We’re happy to report employees and customers all evacuated safely."
