Firefighters Work To Extinguish Walnut Creek Fire

WALNUT CREEK, CA — Contra Costa County fire crews responded to a late Monday morning house fire in Walnut Creek. Firefighters were still working to put out the flames after 11:30 a.m, according to Fire Protection District Capt. Tracie Dutter.

The blaze was reported shortly before 11:20 a.m. on Harmony Lane, located off of Larkey Lane near Geary Road.

No injuries were reported in connection with the blaze, Dutter said.
